Statistics received Monday from Coach Davis offered another look at just how hard the Bleckley County Royals battled in their dramatic Final Four loss to Vidalia on May 14.

Despite falling 6-5 in 10 innings, the Royals outhit Vidalia 12-7 and stranded 14 runners in a game that kept fans on the edge of their seats late into the night.

W. Boatright led the Royals offensively, going 2-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base. N. Woodard finished with two hits and an RBI, while C. Foskey added two hits and an RBI of his own. C. Finch also recorded two hits for Bleckley County.

L. Sapp drove in a run and scored once, while C. Elliot and J. Johnson each collected RBIs in the effort.

On the mound, J. Johnson delivered a strong relief performance, striking out 11 batters over six innings of work while allowing just two hits.

The Royals jumped out to an early 3-1 lead before Vidalia answered with a four-run fourth inning. Bleckley County tied the game in the seventh and forced extra innings before Vidalia walked it off in the bottom of the 10th.

Coach Davis shared the official statistics with The Ledger on Monday following the conclusion of the Royals’ memorable 2026 season.
