Atrium Health Navicent’s Mobile Mammography Coach will visit Cochran later this month, offering convenient breast cancer screening opportunities for eligible women in the community.
The mobile unit will be at At Home Senior Living, located at 147 Senior Way SE in Cochran, on Thursday, May 14, from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, though appointments may also be scheduled by calling 478-633-2003.
According to information released by organizers, women must meet certain criteria to receive a screening mammogram, including being age 35 or older, having no current breast concerns, no prior breast cancer within the past two years and no mammogram within the last 12 months.
Grant funding is available for uninsured and underinsured patients.
