Young athletes in Bleckley County and surrounding areas will have the opportunity to sharpen their basketball skills this summer as Middle Georgia State University Women’s Basketball hosts a Kids Camp at Morris Gym.
The camp is scheduled for June 8–11 and will run Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a shorter session on Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Open to rising first through eighth grade students, the camp welcomes both girls and boys. Participants will focus on basketball fundamentals, take part in 5-on-5 games, and enjoy a fun, active environment led by MGA coaches and players. Each camper will also receive an MGA T-shirt.
The camp will be held at Morris Gym in Cochran, providing a convenient local opportunity for families looking to keep kids active and engaged during the summer.
