The Cochran-Bleckley County Chamber of Commerce is spotlighting its leadership team while encouraging community members and businesses to get involved.
The Chamber’s Board of Directors includes Chair Lee Lister of Great Oaks Bank, Vice Chair Mi Waters of Snow’s Asian Grill, and Secretary-Treasurer Brett Patterson of Jellystone Park.
Board members include Amy Cook of Bleckley Memorial Hospital, Katie Dopson of Heartland EMS, Matt Kelley of the Bleckley County Fire Department and EMA, Bonnie Kitchens of Communities in Schools/Family Connection, Marcus Newson of NewJus, Mike Sanford of Choice Insurance, and Candace Summerall of Fordham Enterprises.
Ex-officio members include Mike Davis, Bleckley County Sole Commissioner; Matt Fordham, Chairman of the Cochran-Bleckley Industrial Development Authority; Carla Coley, Mayor of the City of Cochran; Trey Belflower, Superintendent of Bleckley County Schools; and Randy Thompson of Middle Georgia State University.
Ex-officio emeritus members include Lisa Chastain, Quincy Nobles, and Dr. Michael Stoy.
The Chamber is led by CEO/President Melissa W. Barker, with Lynne Raley serving as administrative assistant.
Chamber officials remind members that submissions for announcements, events, and other materials for the Bleckley Buzz are due by the Tuesday before the last business day of each month.
The Chamber continues to invite individuals and businesses to become members and take advantage of networking, promotional opportunities, and community involvement.
