From Staff Reports

Heartland EMS is shining a light on one of its own, recognizing Candi Vaughn as part of its ongoing Employee Spotlight series.

Vaughn, a Non-Emergency Transport (NET) provider, has been with Heartland EMS for four years. During that time, she has built a reputation for compassion and dedication in caring for those she serves.

She says her work is more than just a job.

“I am thankful that I am able to share my genuine care and compassion for people on a daily basis,” Vaughn shared. “I am blessed and thankful for all of the experience, skills, and knowledge I have gained through my position.”

Vaughn said those experiences have left a lasting impact on her life and heart, and she is grateful for the opportunity to continue helping others — especially those who may need a little extra care.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, friends, and family. She also shared that she is embracing what God has in store for her now and in the future.

Heartland EMS officials say the Employee Spotlight series is designed to give the community a closer look at the people who serve them every day.
