The Cochran-Bleckley County Chamber of Commerce has announced the addition of two new members to its board.
Amy Smith Cook, CFO of Bleckley Memorial Hospital, joins the board bringing years of financial and community experience. She is also a wife, mother, and daughter, and leaders say her perspective will be a valuable addition.
Marcus Newson, creator and owner of Newjus , has also been named to the board. A young entrepreneur, Newson is noted as the youngest member to serve to date.
Chamber officials say they are excited to have both individuals on board as they continue supporting local business and community growth.
