Families are invited to enjoy a day of food, fun and community as the Cochran Downtown Development Authority hosts its Downtown Family Fun Day on Saturday, April 25.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in downtown Cochran and will feature a variety of carnival-style activities for all ages.
Attendees can expect food stalls and food trucks, bounce houses and slides, games and activities, face painting, pony rides, and a fire safety house presented by the Cochran Fire Department. Public Works will also participate with a “Touch-a-Truck” experience.
In addition to the activities, the event will highlight local shopping opportunities and include contests and a community scavenger hunt.
Organizers say the event is designed to bring the community together while supporting local businesses in downtown Cochran.
