The Bleckley County Royals will open the GHSA Baseball State Playoffs at home Friday night, hosting Heard County in a first-round matchup in Cochran.
First pitch for Game 1 is scheduled for 4:30 p.m., with a second game to follow as part of the doubleheader format.
If the Royals and Heard County split Friday’s games, a deciding Game 3 will be played Saturday at 2 p.m.
The postseason appearance marks an exciting opportunity for Bleckley County as they look to make a run in the state playoffs on their home field.
Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Royals as they begin their playoff journey.
