Bleckley County wasted no time making a statement Tuesday night.
After already handling business earlier in the evening, the Royals came out in game two of the doubleheader and delivered one of their most dominant performances of the season — a 23-0, three-inning victory over Central.
The tone was set immediately.
Bleckley County erupted for an eye-popping 22 runs in the bottom of the first inning, sending batter after batter to the plate and putting the game out of reach before Central could settle in. By the time the inning ended, the Royals had complete control — and they never let up.
They added one more run in the second inning to cap off a 15-hit performance, showcasing both patience and power throughout the lineup.
Several Royals turned in big nights at the plate:
C. Elliot led the charge with multiple hits and RBIs, including extra-base hits L. Sapp added a strong performance with extra-base hits of his own C. Foskey and J. Holloway each contributed multi-hit, multi-RBI efforts G. Cole highlighted the night with a home run as part of the offensive surge
It wasn’t just the bats doing the work.
On the mound, W. Boatright was dominant, tossing a three-inning no-hitter while striking out eight and allowing no runs or walks. Central was unable to generate any offense, as the Royals’ defense backed up the strong pitching performance with a clean, controlled game.
In all, Bleckley County combined explosive offense with lockdown pitching to complete the run-rule victory and cap off a commanding night in the doubleheader.
