Residents of Cochran and Bleckley County will have an opportunity to hear directly from local candidates during an upcoming “Meet the Candidates” event hosted by the Cochran-Bleckley Chamber of Commerce.
The public event is scheduled for Monday, April 13 at 6 p.m. at the Cochran City Auditorium.
Candidates for several local and state positions are expected to participate, including those running for House of Representatives District 133 and multiple Board of Education seats.

Board of Education
District 1: Heather McDaniel District 2: Philip Lester District 3: Brandon Keel District 4: Chad Brown and Jainie Frazier-Cahill
The event will give community members a chance to hear candidates’ perspectives, learn more about their priorities, and better understand how their leadership could impact the future of Bleckley County.
Organizers encourage the public to attend, ask questions, and stay informed ahead of upcoming elections.
