Lane Sapp of Cochran kicked off turkey season with a successful opening day harvest in Bleckley County.
Sapp’s gobbler weighed in at 18 pounds and featured an impressive 10-inch beard and ¾-inch spurs.
A strong start to the season for the local outdoorsman.
