The Bleckley County Royals used a big sixth inning to pull away for a 7-3 win over Dublin on the road Tuesday night.
After a scoreless start through five innings, Bleckley erupted for six runs in the sixth to take control of the game. The Royals added another run in the seventh to seal the victory.
Noah Woodard led the Royals at the plate with two hits and an RBI, while Thomas Evans also had two hits and drove in a run. J. Johnson and B. Fleming each contributed an RBI in the win.
On the mound, W. Boatright pitched a complete game, allowing just four hits and three runs over seven innings. He struck out four and did not issue a walk.
Bleckley combined timely hitting with a steady defensive effort to secure the win.
