Members of Cochran Fire and Emergency Services were recently recognized at the Georgia State Capitol by House Representative Danny Mathis (District 133) during the General Assembly.
The firefighters were honored for their actions in saving the life of a Cochran woman who was injured in a house fire on Christmas Day.
“There is something amazing about the folks who risk their lives to save their community members,” Mathis shared on social media. “I am proud to recognize the efforts of the firemen from the City of Cochran Fire Department. Thank you for risking your lives to save the lives of our neighbors!”
