For Misty Luke, art isn’t just something she creates — it’s something she has carried with her since childhood.

Now the artist behind Blue Clover Studio, Luke brings her love of nature to life through acrylic paint, ink and acrylic marker art, creating pieces filled with color, texture and meaning.

Originally from Telfair County and now living in Cochran, Luke holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Valdosta State University. Over the years, she has worked in a variety of creative roles, including graphic designer, floral designer, visual merchandiser and caricature artist. Today, she also works as an engineering technician at Robins Air Force Base, blending technical skill with creativity.

Her passion for art began early, spending time outdoors making small creations from red Georgia clay, wildflowers and natural materials — a connection to nature that still shapes her work today.

That influence is evident in every piece she creates.

“I draw inspiration from nature — the patterns, the colors, the movement,” Luke said. “My art is a reflection of the vibrant happiness and joy that nature brings to my soul.”

From the intricate patterns of petals and leaves to the bold colors of sunsets and ocean blues, Luke’s work captures the beauty found in everyday moments.

Luke recently participated in Eastman’s First Art Walk and continues to share her artwork through Blue Clover Studio, where each piece reflects her passion for creativity and the natural world.
