After weeks of planning, interviewing, writing, and dreaming, The Ledger – Our Community, Our News will officially launch March 18 at noon at http://www.thecbledger.com.
This online news site was created with one goal in mind: to share honest, unbiased stories that matter to Cochran and Bleckley County. The people, the businesses, the decisions, the celebrations — the everyday moments that make our community what it is.
Right now, I’m conducting interviews and putting stories together for launch. These aren’t rushed posts. They are conversations, carefully written pieces, and verified information that I hope you’ll read, learn from, and enjoy.
The Ledger will feature local government coverage, business spotlights, community happenings, and human-interest stories — the kind of news that keeps us connected.
Local journalism matters because it tells our story. Not a national headline. Not a viral trend. But what’s happening right here at home.
